Fashion Design

Proficient in all aspects of design, illustration, pattern making, draping and constructing in Indian formal , ethnic and festive wear as well as home furnishing and accessories, Anupama has over 25 years of experience working with leading fashion houses and supplying to some of the best labels in India and abroad. She has been extensively involved in the creation of exclusive designs using contemporary and classic approaches in styling and trends. Anupama has also worked as the Senior Fashion Designer at Zardozi; Chief Fashion Designer at Meena Bazaar and Head Fashion Designer at Kalpana Srijan. In these varied roles, she has been involved with the creation of theme-based ranges and their promotion and advertising, the creation of design prints, embroideries and silhouettes for Indian wear. Founder and Creative Director at Varan Creations, she also works as a Mentor at Intercell – a revolutionary platform to connect aspiring professionals and students with domain experts to provide one-on-one mentoring. She is involved in conducting virtual one-on-one mentoring sessions with students and professionals seeking guidance in fields of Fashion, design, and entrepreneurship. She is also a part of the Advisory Board for the Just Design Institute where she has been involved in conceptualization and organization of Fashion Shows along with hosting contact classes and mentoring sessions with students. Anupama has a Diploma in Fashion Designing from JDIFT and a B. Sc. from Meerut University. Recognitions: Best Indian Outfit Designer, All India Amateur Fashion Designers Contest, 1993.
