Indrani de Parker, Communication Design Expert

It was wonderful to have Ms. Indrani de Parker, Communication Design Expert, at the IIAD campus. Ms Parker graduated in Visual Communications, specializing in Graphic Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. She has been in professional practice since 1986 as a Communication Design Consultant, specializing in Visual Identity, Branding, Promotional Graphics/Collaterals, Print & Publication Design etc. She did her PhD from IDC, IITB, Mumbai on Design Education in the 21st Century. Currently she is a faculty member at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology - Delhi.

Ms Parker was impressed by the work displayed by the Communication Design students. She provided them with individual feedback on their projects and discussed in detail the thought process behind the students’ creations. The range of projects - apps, films, presentations, books among many others helped her guage the interests of the individual student. It also provided an insight into the variety of techniques and mediums that the students had put to use. Ms Parker went on to also speak about the latest technologies that they incorporated in their branding works while simultaneously interweaving social issues.
